Welcome to Croatia! Arrival at Zagreb airport. Our guide will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall. Transfer from the Airport to the hotel. Check in at the Hotel in the city center. After the check in our guide will give you instructions and tips for your free time in Zagreb. Overnight.
Breakfast at the Hotel and then city tour with a local certified guide. Zagreb it’s a very charming city of Central Europe and still has a well preserved medieval center. Strolling around the city is the best way to discover Zagreb’s atmosphere and way of life. During our city tour we will visit the main Cathedral, in Kaptol, that has an incredible gothic architecture and is the tallest building in the country; the Stone Gate; St. Mark’s Church, with it’s unique and unforgettable roof; the Upper Town; the open-air market Dolac; the Tkalčićeva street with its numerous charming cafes and restaurants; and the heart of Zagreb, and the main square. Enjoy the atmosphere of a city with a million hearts, you will fall in love with it! Free time. Overnight.
Breakfast at hotel. Drive from Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes National Park, which is one of the most amazing wonders of Croatia. The park is protected by UNESCO since 1979 because of its geological and ecological importance. In their 30,000 hectares of native vegetation mountains and 16 crystal-clear lakes of different sizes are linked by waterfalls. It’s for sure one of the most breathtaking landscapes on earth. On our way to the park, we will have two stops. First at the Croatian War of Independence Open Museum where you will be able to see some tanks and planes used in the 1991-1995 war. And the second stop will be at the charming waterfalls of Rastoke village, consisting of mills and traditional timber houses. Arriving at the Plitvice Lakes National Park we will choose our route and stroll through the park, while we enjoy the Croatian flora and fauna. After the visit, we will continue our trip to Zadar. Breakfast at the Hotel followed by a city tour. Zadar is located on a small peninsula and has the largest Roman forum on the Croatian side of the Adriatic. The city is known for its three Roman churches: St. Donatus, St. Anastasia and St. Chrysogonus; by its medieval squares and by it’s unique Sea Organ, an incredible architectonic project that unites nature and urbanism resulting in a harmony made by the Sea.
After the city tour, we will continue our trip to Trogir, a town protected by UNESCO as one of the best preserved with the Romanesque-Gothic style. There you will visit the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, the fortress Kamerlengo, the Cipiko Palace and the City Hall. After enjoying Trogir we will drive to Split. Accommodation in hotel. Our guide will suggest the best places to eat and visit in the city during your free time. Free time. Overnight.
Breakfast at the Hotel and city tour. In Split, you will visit the magnificent Diocletian’s Palace, built in white stone and considered one of the most impressive Roman buildings in the world. This palace was declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. You will be able to see how is to live inside an ancient palace because in Split more than 3,000 people live within the palace portals. There we will also find important archaeological ruins like the Temple of Jupiter, Cathedral of Santo Domingo and the Diocletian’s mausoleum. Free time to stroll by the Sea and enjoy the ancient atmosphere of the city. Overnight.
Breakfast at the Hotel and then we will drive to Dubrovnik, sometimes in the inside roads, watching the beautiful mountains, sometimes by the amazing Croatian coastline full of islands and beauty. Before our final destination, we will make a stop in the small town of Ston, known for its amazing walls and the oldest saline still in activity in Europe. Arriving in Dubrovnik, accommodation in hotel. Overnight.
Breakfast followed by city tour. Prepare yourself to come back in time. The Pile Open Gate welcomes the visitors of Dubrovnik, the former Republic of Ragusa. Strolling through the walls, you will be able to feel in the medieval times when the city had to construct it’s imposing walls to protect itself. There you will visit the Franciscan Monastery, with one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe, the Rector’s Palace, the Onofrio Fountain and the Bell Tower. Free time in the afternoon to enjoy the “Pearl of the Adriatic”. Free time. Overnight.
